ive had quite a busy past few days so i apologies for the lack of posts..

anyways,
on thursday it was a chistmas in july dinner (except we were on holidays so they decided to have it in august instead)...its cuz we arent together during xmas so they thought they'd make it special. it was the nicest dinner ever. like with prawns and xmas pudding and turkey and everything...like christmas crackers (like the ones you pull apart and go *crack* and have jokes and hats and stuff inside) AND candy canes lol.
forgetting that it was the special dinner, i agreed that i'd work (like serving dinner) that night. *sniff* so i didnt get to eat all the nice stuff..i just had normal dinner..
but the good thing is that since there was so much to do, we got paid time-and-a-half plus i got a bottle of wine too :) and lots of spare candy canes :P teehee..and pudding too (the leftovers) haha..but there werent any prawns left :(
and also..
yesterday, i was having a chat to a small group (there were 4 of us) of people about the palladian cup (arts intercol competition) outside just in the hallway, cuz we just walked past each other..
anyways, a meeting with some important people had just finished so the secretary of drew's was like there's some alcohol in that room that hasnt been finished and also some food if that's of any interest to you...just dont open anything that isnt open already..
so we sat there having our "meeting" and eating passionfruit, mangoes, strawberries..cheese and crackers, chocolate and drinking orange juice, wine and port :) i even got to take half a bottle of port with me :) *yay* free alcohol..
i love being at the right place at the right time. no one else was allowed to come :) and we had to lock up before we left. but it was so yummy.
